If you like the sound of our one day guided tour but have longer to spend, why not opt for our ‘guided then go’ option.

This is a great way to get a comprehensive introduction to the Marlborough Sounds on our guided trip with one of our experienced crew for the day before continuing on independently with a freedom rental for as many days as you choose.

Whether you prefer a mix of camping and lodge-style accommodation, we can tailor a freedom rental to suit. We also agree on a route plan with you and provide an evening weather forecast by text if required.

Sea kayaking is a peaceful and gentle way to immerse oneself in the natural environment without disturbing it. We specialise in freedom rentals and with our close proximity to a safe, sheltered coastline, this makes independent adventure possible for anyone.

For experienced sea kayakers, who prefer to explore on their own, we are happy to provide kayaks, equipment and trip suggestions and single kayaks are available although these must be rented in pairs.

Cost: $100 per person for guided tour (including lunch) plus rental rates as listed below:

Half Day       $40 per person

Full Day        $60 per person

Two Days     $100 per person

Three Days  $125 per person

Four Days    $150 per person
