HALF/Single Day Guided Trip

There is no better way to experience the beauty of the Marlborough Sounds than from a kayak.

Beginning in the sheltered waters of the Grove Arm or nearby Ngakuta Bay (neither more than 10 minutes from our base), at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound, this half or day trip provides the opportunity to explore secluded beaches and paddle beneath pristine native bush with a local guide. We stop for lunch at one of the many beautiful beaches along the way.

Meet us at our base, junction of Queen Charlotte Drive and Anakiwa Road, at 8:30AM where you will be fitted out for your sea kayak and attend a safety briefing. We will generally return to Anakiwa about 3.30PM (summer) and a little earlier in winter.

At day’s end, return to our base where there are toilets, free hot showers, a hot drink and time to yarn about a fantastic day out . . .

NB. Please note that the exact details of your trip will depend on both the weather conditions and the other people in the group. We will however tailor the trip to suit individual requirements and we are able to cater for larger groups as well.

Half Day Guided Trip: $75 per person (no lunch included)

Full Day Guided Trip: $120 per person (including lunch)
